Area Information |
| The property is located at the small hamlet of Chittering about 5 miles north of Cambridge off the A10 road.
The College of West Anglia (Equestrian) is about three miles from the property. About a mile up the road is a an equestrian feed supplier and small tack shop.
There is a local post box and bus stop but the A10 offers easy access to the park and ride system directly along the A10 outside Cambridge or to the historic cathedral city of Ely.
Cambridge's main science park is nearby the park and ride centre and there are some industrial units on the north side of Cambridge. There is a Tesco supermarket both here and in Ely apart from the other major ones and excellent shopping facilities in Cambridge.
The park and ride gives cheap parking with easy Cambridge city centre access or connection to high speed rail links such as for London commuting or Stansted airport.
The A10 joins the A14 nearby and offers good travel links on it or to other routes such as the M11. To the north is Historic Ely with its cathedral just visible from the paddock. |
